Alcide Achieves Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification, Helping Extend Kubernetes Security for OpenShift Customers

Bringing Kubernetes audit log forensics to Red Hat OpenShift ecosystem

TEL AVIV, Israel, June 18, 2020 – Alcide, the Kubernetes security leader empowering DevSecOps teams with end-to-end continuous security guardrails for Kubernetes deployments, today announced that its Alcide Security Platform has achieved Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification. The certification paves the way for members of the Red Hat OpenShift customer community to leverage the Alcide Security Platform for Kubernetes-native applications.

Red Hat OpenShift is the industry’s most comprehensive enterprise Kubernetes platform, automating the container application lifecycle and integrating security into the container pipeline. Red Hat OpenShift customers are now able to adopt Alcide solutions with confidence, assured that the Alcide Security Platform adheres to Red Hat’s strict requirements for quality, compatibility, and security features within the Red Hat ecosystem.

“We are pleased that the Alcide Security Platform has achieved Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification and is part of the Red Hat Partner Connect ecosystem,” said Julio Tapia, senior director, Cloud Platforms ecosystem, Red Hat. “By providing the Alcide Security Platform on Red Hat OpenShift, Alcide users can begin experiencing the next level of benefits from a truly hybrid Kubernetes-native infrastructure, with services designed to ‘just work’ across any cloud where Kubernetes runs, including on-prem, private cloud, public cloud, or multi-cloud environments.”

Alcide kAudit, part of the  Alcide Security Platform, is an automated analysis of Kubernetes audit logs solution that detects anomalous behavior of users and service accounts in real-time.

With a robust Kubernetes analysis and forensics capabilities, Red Hat OpenShift users can get Kubernetes audit logs insights thus allowing users to focus on what really matters when it comes to audit logs: reduce the noise usually associated with audit logs and reduce time to detect.

“Alcide’s Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification is a great enablement for the OpenShift ecosystem users,” says Amir Ofek, CEO of Alcide, “who will now be able to augment their DevOps and DevSecOps with our comprehensive capabilities for securing cloud-native applications.”

The Alcide Security Platform is available now to developers using Red Hat OpenShift for their containerized applications.
