Rafa Brito has over 30 years of industry experience, primarily designing and building systems involving distributed computing, Kubernetes, Cloud, grid/HPC, and high-frequency trading infrastructure (HFT). Rafa is a staff engineer at StormForge who is obsessed with providing Kubernetes optimization and scalability to customers. Before StormForge, Rafa was at VMware as an inventor of a Kubernetes migrator to move stateful workloads across different Kubernetes distributions and cloud providers. Before VMware, he was the Global Engineer Lead in Containers and Grid computing at Citigroup. Rafa co-organizes the KCD Texas and CNCF Austin branch. When not working with Kubernetes, you will find Rafa running the Ladybird Trail in Austin, TX, and rooting for his soccer teams: Flamengo, Austin FC, and FC Porto
