As a developer advocate at GitLab, Daniel Helfand works to help GitLab users learn about all the opportunities available with the GitLab platform. Prior to working at GitLab, Daniel worked at VMware and Red Hat in both engineering and developer advocacy roles. Over his career, Daniel has worked with Kubernetes and many different developer experiences within the Kubernetes ecosystem. He has been a maintainer in open source, cloud-native communities, including Tekton and Carvel, and has worked as a platform engineer to help organizations utilize cloud native technologies at scale.
